what the sonogram technician told us

the baby looks healthy, and it's a girl!(wonderful!) Rachel took care of Malachai and Josu while Joshua and I took the bus to the hospital. We are, of course, pleased with God's choice for us - - but not as pleased, I think, as the five ladies I regularly run into at the coffee shop who have been hoping desperately for a baby girl for us.

I've always known that Joshua has one eye bigger than the other. This photo is evidence to that fact. What a weirdo.

We need to get together more often. What are your plans for the summer?

Hurray! Boys or girls are fun, but girls can wear pink with brown and braids with ribbons :). So will you have to get her ears pierced so people know she is a girl?

Congrats! I'm sure she will be beautiful! I was going to ask as well whether you'll peirce her ears as well. :) It's so fun watching your family grow as you minister in Spain! God bless.

Your mom told me the news. How cool!!!! I'm not sure if you know but we are having a girl too! Too bad we don't live closer. Our kids should be great friends if we ever do.

Hey! Congratulations Naomi and Joshua. Now you and Rachel can start making all sorts of cute girl clothes, right? I always thought I'd do that sort of thing, but so far, no home-made clothes. But hand-me-downs are almost as good!:)
In case the news hasn't traveled the globe yet, i am also expecting--sometime in January. So maybe I'll get a girl this time too. Could be the year for girls, who knows?
